iPad's Use in Educational Fields

One of my posts was about the importance of technology in education now a days. To be more specific, I'll be based on one of my studies that I have done to show the advantages and the disadvantages of using iPads instead of textbooks.
In general, students and teachers agree that using iPads facilitate their educational life. Actually, parents also encourage this idea. Their obvious reason is kid's health, since as we know that each bag don't weigh less than 5 kg. Whereas the iPad weighs less than 1 kg!
The iPad's storage is also another benefit. It can hold many textbook at once and it can be upgraded rapidly and proficiently. Students can easily have the most recent version of textbooks.
Many other advantages can be listed in this way:
  • Personalization: Instructors can customize students learning utilizing iPads with several instructive applications.
  •  Ease of learning: Many studies have shown and assured that utilizing an iPad helps students learn material quicker.
  • Collaboration: Students can without much of a stretch cooperate in online web journals, wikis, and training centered informal organizations.
  • Increased reading: Students who use iPads tend to read more books than the individuals who don't.
  • Saving Time: Using iPads avoid sharpening pencils and waiting slowly students to finish copying from the board..
  • Fun and Interest: Students love using iPads! This will attract their attention and they will be more active and engaged.
The advantages of using iPads are uncountable. Adding one important point which is iPads can help students with disabilities. By using the touch screen capability, students who lack motor skills can actually watch their finger move and write directly on the screen. This greatly improves their fine motor skills.

And because everything has its pros and its cons. I should highlight some disadvantages of using iPads. "Health issues" can be considered the worst one. According to the studies, students who use iPads might be at expanded danger of vision disorder. In addition. there might be a higher danger of carpal passage disorder and neck/shoulder pain. We can add "technical issues", "battery life", and "high costs"..
